Rovers are reported to be after Derry City midfielder, Darren McCauley. The teenage A-Level student has had two trials at Ewood Park, but is also reported to be attracting interest from Ipswich Town, Coventry City as well as Scottish sides Hearts and Celtic.

I told you last weekend about Warnock’s move to Aston Villa, BBC Sport are now reporting the deal is in the process of being done and the two clubs are in talks, with Big Sam leaving John Williams to conduct the negotations with Villa.
